The Northern Frontier Outpost on Dora Lake has undergone a total renovation and upgrading to ensure that guests enjoy all the comforts and amenities, while still experiencing the peace and tranquility of a remote Ontario Fly In Fishing Adventure.
The kitchen and dining cabin is totally separate from the sleeping cabins and provides everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and supper. We provide two propane refrigerators to ensure all your fresh goods stay cold throughout your trip. The kitchen is complete with all cooking and eating utensils, propane stove, outdoor bbq, outdoor deep fryer and hot and cold running water.
The outpost features two separate sleeping cabins which ensures large groups of 6 – 8 are never crowded. Or if you come as two couples, each couple can have their own cabin and privacy. You have total flexibility when fishing Dora Lake.
The shower cabin is also a separate unit that ensures privacy and features sink and shower with hot and cold running water.
When its time to hit the water, you will enjoy the safety and security of our 14′ Lund boats with 8 – 10 hp motors and all the gas you will need to ensure you can spend all the time you want fishing the many bays and inlets each and every day

Be sure to bring essentials, but it is important to organize amongst your group so you keep within the aircraft weight limit for your group size. For example the total weight limit for a group of 4 is 1200 lbs incuding body weight, baggage and supplies.
If you exceed this weight limit, an extra flight will be required, which will add to your costs.

We strongly suggest that you purchase your Ontario Fishing Licences as soon as possible upon crossing the border into Ontario/Canada. This will save time and avoid any delays upon your arrival at the air base and allow you to depart as soon as your flight is ready.
